Unfortunately, due to the anticipated nor'easter on Saturday, the Red Ribbon Run/Walk is cancelled.  We continue to unite as a community to take a visible stand against substance abuse, and to teach the children in our schools about the importance of making the right choices when faced with difficult decisions....

Free Naloxone/Narcan Training Is Available

As we approach a busy fall season, the Commack Coalition of Caring would like to remind you that free naloxone/Narcan training is available by the NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. Participants will learn to recognize, respond to and reverse a suspected opioid overdose using naloxone/Narcan. Rescue kits containing naloxone will be provided for those with immediate needs, with other participants directed to obtain free or low-cost naloxone...
